My Papa Alan

Here is the first sight of the man who originally took me to the baths.

The man who started it all.

A man who despite being nearly blind knows every road in London.

Here we are in another one of our favourite places…a salt beef gaf in Hatch End. It will remain nameless until we get our free sandwiches.

By the sound of it this may be the last video as he aint happy about it. I was very lucky to get one without him swearing.

He does seem excited by the show…ish

Having conversations with Papa Alan about areas of London and the history of them made me hungry to learn all about the city and my place in it, which eventually led me to the Baths in Canning town.
